5th World Congress: Investing in Health

Developing Country Presenter Scholarships

As part of its mission to promote health economics throughout the world, iHEA provides some funds to subsidize attendance for researchers coming from developing countries to present a paper at the conference. There is a limited amount of scholarship funding from iHEA, and so we require that you approach your normal funding sources before you apply to iHEA. Typically, iHEA will consider only scholarship applications only from conference presenters who have a 2004 iHEA membership coming from developing regions for whom the conference costs would be a hardship.

Students from or studying in developed regions will not be considered for support through this scholarship stream. Instead you should review the information on applying for student scholarships.

Scholarship applications are due by 15 Nov 2004. Note that along with an e-mailed scholarship application you MUST register for the conference though our on-line system (you can set up a pending registration though the on-line system).

Please download and use this application form (MS Word). Once completed simply e-mail it to Bill Swan.
