67th Health Economists' Study Group Meeting

Conference Dates: 29 June to 01 July 2005

Abstracts for any relevant health economics topic are welcome for the 67th Health Economists’ Study Group meeting to be held 29 June to 01 July 2005 at The Centre for Life, Newcastle upon Tyne.

This is an ordinary meeting with no specific theme. It will have the standard format of one-hour ‘parallel’ sessions with written papers submitted in advance, introduced and reviewed by a discussant other than the author.

If you wish to present a paper, please send a title and abstract of up to 250 words describing the proposed content with some indication of the methods used. Where work is in progress please indicate the stage the work has reached and (where appropriate) whether quantitative results are available. Papers are particularly welcome from first time presenters and PhD students.

Please submit abstracts in the body of the e-mail [NOT AS ATTACHMENTS PLEASE] (use a clear header stating it is a “HESG abstract”) to hesg@ncl.ac.uk

A suggested format (which may not apply in entirety to all papers) is given below:

  • Title
  • Authors and Affiliation
  • Author for Correspondence & Contact Details
  • Issue Being Addressed
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Implications/Discussion
  • Key Issues for Discussion by HESG Audience
  • Status of the work

Papers will be accepted for oral presentation, provided they meet the criteria, and will be made available on the HESG local meeting website
