All topics related to the health of the Latino population in the United States, barriers to effective health care and health promotion, and strategies for improving health status and access to health care will be considered. Related issues such as the health-related impacts of immigration status and the potential impact of proposed immigration reforms are also of interest.
This conference is co-sponsored by the Graduate School and Stritch School of Medicine of Loyola University Chicago (LUC). The program is being developed in collaboration with the community leaders and advocates for the well being of the Latino community.
