The IHEA congress, held every second year, is the only global forum for health economists to engage around the latest methodological developments, present recent research findings and explore the implications of this research for health policy and practice. The IHEA congress includes presentations across the full spectrum of health economics’ fields.
The 16th IHEA World Congress on Health Economics will be held at the Bali International Convention Centre from July 19-23, 2025. Indonesia, where the 2025 IHEA Congress will be held, has the fourth largest share of IHEA members in Asia (after China, India and Japan).

The cost of becoming a member and registering is cheaper than registering as a non-member, so we suggest you consider joining IHEA before registering!

*A person who is a citizen of and residing in a country on the World Bank’s list of low- and middle-income countries
** Defined as a full-time student at a tertiary education institution or a person who has graduated within the past five years.
If you require additional social event tickets, select them when registering – please note that social events are included in your registration fee; only select this if you would like to bring a partner and/or children to a social event. There is no charge for children under 12.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation more than four weeks prior to the Congress (any time prior to June 16th, 2025) = A full refund less admin fee of $40.00 USD.
Cancellation between two to four weeks (June 16th to June 30th) = 50% refund.
Cancellation any time after June 30th, 2025 = no refund will be offered.
You may transfer your registration to another person at any time.
